It’s my pleasure to welcome back my friend Mary Morgan who will share her next snippet from A Highland Moon Enchantment. Be sure to read to the end to be in the running for Mary’s giveaway. It’s Medieval Monday after all… Enjoy!
Excerpt:
βPraise Mother Danu.β The lass moved away from Desmond, and knelt on one knee in front of Alastair. βPlease forgive me. We did not ken whom we could trust. My name is Ailsa MacDuff. We require your assistance.β
Alastair released his hold on the druid. βPlease dinnae pay homage to me.β He reached down and helped her to stand.
βYe are honored on our island,β stated Ailsa. She waved her hand toward the druid. βThis is Tam.β
The druid nodded. βHow blessed we are to have a Dragon Knight and his guard come to our aid.β He looked at Ailsa. βThis Dragon Knight has the power of the land.β
Desmond snorted in disgust. βI am not his guard.β
Alastairβs mouth twitched in humor. βI am married to his sister.β
A Highland Moon Enchantment
Blurb:
You first met this warrior in Dragon Knightβs Axe, Order of the Dragon Knights, Book 3
Β Irish warrior, Desmond OβQuinlan has never surrendered his heart to any woman. He has no wish to have his soul tortured by love. Yet, the moment he locks gazes with Ailsa, his fate is destined for an adventure he never fathomed. He may have battled alongside a Dragon Knight, but his greatest challenge will come from within his own heart.
Ailsa MacDuff, a warrior among her clan, has no desire to have a man chain her to a life of obedience. However, that is before she meets Desmond. The temptation to allow this warrior inside her heart is a risk she dares to take, but one that could lead to a future of emptiness and sorrow.
When betrayal looms from within, the battleground of love is no match for these two warriors. Can the power of a Highland full moon be strong enough to unite or destroy them?
