First Kiss Excerpt

They approached her car. His was on the other side of the lot. “Goodnight,” he said.

“Goodnight,” she answered, digging in her purse for her keys.

She beeped her remote as he headed for his own car. They hadn’t talked about phone sex, sexting, or his next lesson. There’d only been room for Darlene and his little white lie.

He was a couple of parking spots away when he turned. Opening her door, she threw her purse across to the passenger seat. A light evening breeze picked up her hair, blowing it gently, prettily. Her legs were long and toned beneath the short black skirt she wore.

He didn’t think, he simply acted. In four long strides, he was on her. Grabbing her arm, he hauled her close, a breath whooshing out of her. Then her lips were beneath his.

Her mouth opened, and her taste was as tangy and sweet as her citrus scent. He enveloped her with both arms, the press of her breasts against him, her cherried nipples as tight and hard as she’d described to him every night. He sank into her, teasing the recesses of her mouth, her tongue flirting with his. Then he growled in his throat and devoured her, taking the kiss deep. He tasted her moan, felt it vibrate against him, inside him. The fire in her lips consumed him, engulfed them both. She trembled in his arms. His blood roared in his ears and pulsed in his fingertips where he touched her. He flared to life like a lit match, burning hot, until they were both breathing fast, gasping, and he pulled back just to make sure he hadn’t lost his mind, that she was real.

“Oh my dear James,” she said on a puff of air. “Now that was a kiss.”
